Using the service

BankStatementConverter provides a browser-based tool for extracting transaction data from PDF, PNG and JPG bank statements. You may review and edit the result before downloading an Excel .xlsx workbook, CSV or JSON file. By using the service, you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not upload a document.

Your documents and permissions

You retain your rights in documents you upload. You must have permission to process each document and must not upload another person's financial information without authority. You authorize us and the service providers described in the privacy policy to process your file only as needed to provide the requested conversion, secure the service and comply with applicable obligations.

Accuracy and your review

Document extraction can make mistakes. Scans, unfamiliar layouts, ambiguous dates and missing balances can produce incomplete or incorrect results. You are responsible for comparing the output with the original statement before using it for bookkeeping, tax, lending, legal or other consequential purposes. Keep the original document as your source of record. The service does not provide financial, accounting, tax or legal advice.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to process documents you are not authorized to use, create deceptive financial records, attempt to bypass security or usage limits, or interfere with other users. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service or comply with law.

Accounts and access

Some features, such as saved conversion history, require account sign-in when available. You are responsible for maintaining access to your Google account and for activity under your session. You can use the public converter without signing in. Contact [email protected] if you need help with account data.

Pricing and payments

Guest access permits 1 page per rolling 24 hours per visitor IP; a signed-in free account permits 3 pages per rolling 24 hours. Pro is $25 per month for 300 pages, and Business is $50 per month for 1,000 pages. Paid allowances reset at the start of each subscription billing period. Each PDF page counts separately and each uploaded image counts as one page. A file that exceeds the remaining allowance cannot be processed. Failed conversions do not consume pages. Online checkout is available only when billing is enabled; otherwise contact us before making any payment. There is no public API subscription.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available, but do not promise uninterrupted access or that every statement format will work. We may update extraction models, supported file handling and these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the updated version posted here.

Liability and contact

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without a guarantee that extracted data is complete or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected].
